You’re about to find out how easy it is to store your equipment, and get more use out of that cluttered space. Not
only that, Stor-A-Wall's versatility means you can re-arrange the panels and fittings, or add extra panels or fittings as your needs change.
Determine your desired location for Stor-A-Wall storage system.
Draw a level line on the wall at the top of your desired location and mark the ends.
Determine the location of wall studs.
If using 2.4 metre long Slatwall Panels, mark out enough spacing for five Metal Fixing Brackets. If using 1.2 metre long Slatwall Panels, mark out enough spacing for three Metal Fixing Brackets.
Starting at the bottom, place the first Slatwall Panel on the Metal Fixing Bracket and push down on the panel firmly to set into place.
Fit the next two Slatwall Panel sections in the same way saving, the top panel (this it the one without an interlocking upper edge) for the top position.
We recommend (optional) locking the top panel in position with two locking screws by drilling a hole 10mm in from each top corner and securing to the wall with the screws supplied in your kit. This will be hidden by the End Caps.
The End Caps can be fitted with either the wide or narrow face to the front. If you have fitted the optional locking screws (as mentioned in Step Nine) cut the rear of the end trim so that it will clear each screw. Push into place. In the narrow face to front configuration the Metal Fixing Brackets may prevent the end cap from sitting properly (as mentioned in Step Five). If this is the case reduce the size of the rear face of the end cap by cutting a strip off it.
There are four different variations you can install your Stor-A-Wall. Standard, Side by Side, Individual and Two by Two.
Note: Our Installation Instructions are based on a Standard configuration.
Additional tools are required for installation of all other configurations.
